after making the first pair of socks with a toe-up construction from the "admiral" yarn i really liked the results. using the remnants of the yarn to make another pair (need to be anklets as i have less than half of the skein)

blanket time

my grey wool blanket has been "in progress" for too long, so i have decided to tackle it. working on it a bit more now, it will take ages surely and i will need to switch projects as the wool is really quite harsh to work with (homespun wool from the aran islands). but the blanket should be really cosy and lasting, methinks.

sock knitting bliss

some knitters say sock knitting is addictive. 

i sort of trust them now.
