knitting a cabled fingerless mittens made to special order.

decided for a sort of irregular cable to keep them interesting.

MALE babushkas finished

finished a set of three macho babushkas with moustaches. seems like i will have to make more of that kind.
and yes they do go into each other.

my colleague laughed at me for having lots of knitted pouches and bags saying my mobile has 3 covers, and i thought i shall make some MALE babushkas - i knew about cricheted female babushkas that were all cute, decided to make some macho version. probably will have moustaches.

needs to be fully working - not just dolls, i want them to go into each other

the story of golem

Sometimes things do not go as planned.

Lately, i have admird some knitted bunnied and planned for one. When sewing the dairy thing together, I have realized it looks surprisingly humanoid. 

Changed plans mid-work, played a bith with the limbs, and decided a golem was a better idea (if you ae not familiar with the term, i suggest wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem). It is a gift for a man anyway.

after trying to knit a teddy and realizing the thing went really wrong, i have decided maybe it was time to crochet one. using cotton, a really thin hook and having fun generally, albeit worrying a bit what happens this time.
